The Caribou County Communications Center is currently staffed with five full time dispatchers.  The Communication Center serves as a support entity for dispatching personnel for the Caribou County Sheriff's Office, Soda Springs Police Department, Soda Springs Fire/Ambulance, Grace Fire/Ambulance, Bancroft Fire/Ambulance and the Caribou County Fire Department.

The Communications Center is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Soda Springs and the surrounding communities within Caribou County.  The Communications Center has the responsibility to staff and answer, on a 24-hour basis, the telephones and radios upon which calls for service are received. This includes 911 emergency calls (police, fire and EMS.)Whether you call 911 or the non-emergency line (208)547-2561, you will speak with a highly trained dispatcher.
